Refugees International is honored to present Amina Ali with the
inaugural Richard C. Holbrooke Leadership Award in acknowledgement of a
lifetime of remarkable humanitarian work.
Throughout her career working in Kenyan public and private sectors, she has displayed her passion and commitment to protecting the rights of vulnerable members of the community, including refugees and asylum seekers.
Sadly, Amina passed away in early May 2011 after battling cancer. She exemplified the tireless efforts and spirit of a true humanitarian.
