Indiscriminate shelling, intimidation, and “search and sweep” operations by insurgent groups, TFG security forces, and Ethiopian troops have displaced over 60% of Mogadishu’s population. For the poorest of the poor – unable to leave the city – this has resulted in urban displacement camps.
