Water was being trucked into the camp. Since the camp was viewed as temporary, there were no immediate plans to drill wells. The absence of latrines, however, was a major problem that needed to be addressed immediately. Women told UNHCR protection staff that they were refusing to eat until proper latrines could be dug.
