The Pakistani military has played a leading role in providing assistance to survivors. Pakistani army engineers are engaged in road repair, allowing humanitarian agencies to deliver assistance to people stranded in remote villages. Pakistani troops are trekking to remote locations to delivering assistance to people. The cooperation between the military and humanitarian agencies is high, and NGOs speak very highly of their relationship with the Pakistani military. There have been allegations of corruption on the part of the Pakistani military, but RI could find no evidence to support these allegations.
